STS was
engaged to perform Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Recovery
Planning (BRP) activities for the California Department of Motor Vehicles
(DMV).
California
DMV called upon STS to manage a multi-phase project, which included
the identification of critical systems, their attendant processes,
the development of recovery scripts for those key applications and
databases, and the deployment of test plan validation exercises.
DMV was able to leverage the expertise of STS to satisfy highly
regulated BRP and Business Continuity Planning (BRC) requirements,
and save an estimated $1.5 Million in valuable time and resources
in the process.
